The Rate Card · Thursdays, 7am PT

One email a week. The stuff I’d tell you over coffee in Cabo.

What’s working in luxury travel content right now: deals, DMs, numbers, mistakes. Written by me, not a content team.

One email a week. Unsubscribe anytime.

The format

Four sections. Four minutes.

It’s called The Rate Card because that’s what it is: what creators charge and what hotels actually pay, the one artifact both sides want and nobody publishes.

  1. 01

    The Number

One real figure from inside the business that week, with three sentences of context. What a campaign invoiced, what a licensing renewal added, what a bad clause cost.

  2. 02

    The Play

One tactic, fully executable from the email alone. No cliffhangers, no click to find out. If you can’t run it before Friday, it doesn’t ship.

  3. 03

    The Property

A hotel, campaign, or destination spotlight. Creators read it to see what buyers reward; hotel marketers read it and see themselves.

  4. 04

    The Door

One next step, rotated weekly: a playbook, a call, a reply prompt. Never more than one door per issue.

What lands in your inbox

The standing lanes.

  • Deal Diaries

Inside a live or closed deal: how it opened, where it nearly died, what it invoiced.

  • Rate Transparency

The numbers nobody publishes: what different deliverables actually price at, and why.

  • Tactics & Systems

The Play as the headline: pipelines, follow-up cadences, and the boring systems that close.

No subscriber-count theater. The list is young; the numbers inside it are not.
